I have had the TC3000 for the past 5 years, and it has helped me to lose weight. The problem though is that my heart rate doesn’t increase enough for me to really feel it is the most justified workout for me. This is a difficult piece of equipment to walk on too, and I have slipped numerous times. It can really jolt your body when you slip so I urge you to be careful every time you use it. I have to wear my headphones too because it squeaks and that gets old fast.
I had to call customer service several times too about some plastic pieces that kept coming off. There was an error code – LS – that I was getting and they said it was the LED light inside. Even with their friendly service though it took lots of effort to really find out what was causing that problem. I had to buy $60 worth of parts and there was no guarantee that they would solve my problem. I think it can be a great machine, but if it starts to break down it could be tough to fix.”

“The Bowflex Treadclimber was a gift that my spouse and I gave ourselves for Christmas a couple of years ago. We took the time to learn about all three that they offered, and we decided to buy the one that was in the middle of the price range because they all seemed to work the same. We didn’t think the few differences for the upper scale model warranted the additional price of it.
To be honest, I was worried that the desire my spouse and I had to use it daily would fade and it would just be a place to hang clothes. However, I liked the fact that the advertising stated you could get a spectacular workout in half the time of a regular treadmill. With two careers and three kids in our home, time isn’t something that is on our side.
The incline was easy to change, and I liked that too. My husband could put it on his desired setting. Then I could change it quickly to mine and we both benefited. Six months later I am proud to say we are losing weight, I feel more toned, and it is something we use very frequently so it was a good investment.”

“I love working out, but often find it is so hard to get to the gym. As a single mom, my kids spend enough time away from me. When they go to bed, I do have time to workout though but the gym is closed. When I got a handsome tax return last year, I took $2,000 of it and invested in a Bowflex TreadClimber.
The convenience of having this item in my home is amazing. Sometimes, I get up early and workout before the kids get out of bed. It feels great to make working out off my list before the day has really started. Most of the time, I workout at night when they are asleep. I can enjoy my favorite TV shows too at the same time.
I wish the cardio of this machine was better, but overall I really enjoy it. I had a tough time initially putting it all together, but then I am not the best with anything that comes with parts and an owner’s manual! I think I had their support number of speed dial but eventually it all fell into place.”

“One of the things that really got me excited about the Bowflex TreadClimber is the adjustments on it. After having my baby, I was lazy about getting in shape. I was focused on her and my husband and that made me happy. However, when she was a toddler and running all over I couldn’t keep up with her. I knew then I had to take action to get that weight off.
At first, I was only able to use it for about 10 minute. My back would get so sore that I couldn’t continue. I even went to the chiropractor for an evaluation. Finally, I figured out that I had to stand differently and then it wouldn’t hurt. I was hunching over at first and that also caused my foot to slip now and then. It was scary the few times I came so close to falling!
Now I can be on it for longer periods of time. I have also increased my endurance so I have the incline so much higher than when I first got it. The only regret I have is that I didn’t make getting the weight off a priority early on. Yet I find with this machine it is coming off at a pace that I am happy with.”

“When I moved for college, I answered an ad for a guy that was looking for a roommate. We hit it off fast, and became good friends. He had a Bowflex TreadClimber and said I could use it at any time. I had used other treadmills before, but this one caught me off guard. I had it on high speed one day and almost feel right on my face. I slowed it down but then it seemed uneven. Maybe it is just me, but this wasn’t the right type of exercise equipment I felt confident using.”

“We all have items in our home that we would never dream of life without. For me, it is the Bowflex TreadClimber. I have a very stressful job, but this is a great way to reduce stress fast. I am in my mid 40s and in very good shape. With a busy lifestyle, I like knowing I will remain healthy. We live in a very cold climate too, which can hinder getting enough exercise outdoors.
I use this machine 3 times per week, and only 30 minutes a day. That doesn’t add up to very much time but the results are very good. I have to admit that I wasn’t happy about the price of it at all. I didn’t know if I wanted to have that much tied up in exercise equipment. Yet I went to the gym on a free pass one day and tried this machine, so I knew I loved it.
I think the money that I paid for it made me guilty initially. I used it because I was determined to get a good return on the investment I had made with it. Now, it is just part of my routine and I get so much out of my workout sessions. It is my time to clear my mind and to rejuvenate my body.”
- Frank, Brandon MB
“Stop wasting your time with long workout sessions. In less time with the TreadClimber I have been able to get very good results. The only downside is that the treads seem to be too short. I am not a tall person either, but this is what they offer so I have made the best of it. One of the treads came off about a year after I bought it. This was a risk to me in the way of falling so I had to get it fixed. The warranty was up but I was still able to get the part on my own through their customer service.”
- Justin, Londson UK
“I wasn’t happy to find out that the monthly payment for my TreadClimber was more than they had been advertising. The ad said one payment and no interest for the first year. I figured that I could easily make that monthly payment so I ordered it. However, when I got the bill for the second month, it was so much more than the first one and more than what was advertised.
I immediately called them and found out they had added interest to my payments. I am going to continue to try to figure this all out with them. I love the machine, but not the payment I have now. The whole reason for buying it was so that it would be less than my monthly membership fee at the gym.”
- Cherista, Melbourne AUS
“My New Years resolution was to get in shape and to be able to run further without getting winded. To help me out, I purchased the T5000 TreadClimber and I loved it. While it was very heavy and I have to keep it in one place, I use it often and the workouts are really helping me all over my body. I continue to challenge myself by changing the settings as my endurance improves, and that will help me to really get the most out of my investment in this great machine.”
- Devon, Grand Forks, ND
“After reading plenty of reviews, I knew for sure I wanted to get a Bowflex TreadClimber. The problem though is that I didn’t have enough money to get one. I wasn’t about to give up though. I posted a listing on Craigslist and someone called me a few days later. They had one that they didn’t use much and they were moving so they wanted to sell it for a very good price.
I enjoy being able to use it, and love the fact that I didn’t pay full retail price for it. Even though the item was a few years old, it had been well cared for. It is also obvious that this item was well made. Hopefully, it will last me at least a couple of years. I am in the best shape now that I have been in 10 years, and I am really proud of it.”
- Luis, Las Vegas NV
“After my knee surgery, I knew that I wanted to change my lifestyle. Being more active was on top of my list. I invested in the TreadClimber by Bowflex because it is a low impact type of exercise I can participate in. I also liked the fact that I could gain the same benefit as a stepper or a treadmill in less time with it. The cost was a lot but I figured I couldn’t put a price tag on my future fitness and health.
I really feel like this machine has helped me to regain strength in my legs and knees. I don’t feel pain when I work out, and I can go walking for long periods of time on nice days. This is also a quiet machine which I rally enjoy. I can’t stand those that hiss, squeak, and strain as you use them.”
- Ruth, Omaha NB
“One of the things I have always been embarrassed about is the jiggling of my legs and thighs. I want to go on a romantic 10 year wedding anniversary trip to Hawaii next year. I want to look smoking hot in a bikini while we are there. That is why I bought the TreadClimber. I have been using it for the past few months, and I can already feel a difference in my calves.
The muscle that I am building really has helped me self confidence. I have also lost more than 10 pounds. My spouse keeps telling me how wonderful I look, and that feels good too. Now I can start getting all of the plans for that trip in place, including shopping for a spectacular bathing suit.”
- Kelly, Spokane WA
“Are you looking for a fast way to help you burn more calories? Exercising is the way to lose weight and to tighten up those tough areas including the belly. The money you will spend on a TreadClimber is worth every dollar! If you want to be able to lose 10 pounds a month like I have, then this is the way to do it. The best thing for me is that I didn’t have to change anything to my diet to make this work. I only spent about 30 minutes a day working out.”
- James, Newport Beach, CA
“My husband can make frivolous purchases we regret later on. That is why when he told me one day that we should get a Bowflex TreadClimber I didn’t pay too much attention to him. Yet he wouldn’t let it go so I decided to check it out on my own. I had to agree it was a great opportunity, but a risk for the budget. When we saw the low payments though I gave the green light for us to get one.
I wish I had it a year ago when I was trying to lose weight for my high school class reunion. My body is so different today and I love to look in the mirror. It is actually fun to go try on clothes and to buy new outfits. My husband has lost 40 pound with it, and he looks absolutely amazing. I really am enjoying our new bodies! The only issue now is that sometimes we both want to be on it at the same time! Maybe we will have to buy a second one!”
- Jan, Espoo, FIN
“I hate going to the gym, I feel like everyone is staring at me. Being a college student, I eat too much junk. My sister lives close by and she recently got a TreadClimber by Bowflex. She has it downstairs in the laundry room and I go use it every chance I can get. She enjoys my company, and she only uses it first thing in the morning.
What prompted me to use it though were the changes in her body. I guess I had always chalked up our physique to genetics and it was what it was. I can’t tell you how many miles I have walked in the past on a typical treadmill and nothing changed. Now I can feel and see a great difference in my body. My sister is looking great and we both have more confidence. Next month we are going to a rock and roll concert, and we are going to look great for it!”
Nina, Bakersfield CA
“I always seem to be running into people that I haven’t seen for a long time. Many of them take a double take. Perhaps it is the 50+ pounds that I have lost in that period of time. I owe it all to the TreadClimber that I bought about 3 years ago. It has really transformed my life. I thought that I would never get passed the depression and helplessness after my divorce. Finding motivation to workout with this equipment though inspired me to be happy again.
For me, it was all about accountability. I was able to see how far I had walked and how many calories I had burned each time I used it. I also loved that there were 15 programs so I didn’t get bored with the same old thing day after day. There is no way I have room in my home for an elliptical, a treadmill, and a stair climber. This machine alone is bulky but it offers me the value of all three.
My level of physical activity was very low when I got it, so I liked it was low impact. This allowed me to start out at my fitness level and continue to build on it every step of the way. This is a type of exercise machine you get results from and that you will never outgrow.”
- Greg, Tampa FL
“It has been 5 years since I took the leap and purchased my TreadClimber. I still use it three or four times per week, and absolutely love it. I had been going to the gym prior to that but then my work schedule changed. I had to work nights and sleep during the day. On my nights off, it was too hard to get to the gym. Plus, the membership fees were getting too high.
I enjoy working out at home better because in the time it took me to drive to the gym and back, I can have my entire workout done. I recently burned up the motor in it, and had to pay a couple hundred dollars to replace it. The process wasn’t hard though and certainly worth it. Now I am sure I will be able to continue using it for many more years.”
- Aaron, Pensacola FL
“When my boyfriend and I broke up, I decided I didn’t want to continue going to the gym where we often went. To replace that, and him, I got a Bowflex TreadClimber 5000. He was always on my case that I was too flabby and too fat. That took a toll on my self esteem. This workout equipment helped me to work through the emotions of the relationship and I got fit. That also gave me back my confidence.
Before I got this equipment, I tried walking but found it to be boring. It was always too hot, too cold, or too dark so I would make excuses and not get very many miles in. I love TV so I would also talk myself out of walking to watch a show. Now I can workout and watch what I want at the same time. I don’t have to pick one or the other.”
